I'esha Crist and my cousin Eric came out to visit me for a couple weeks. When we went to Waikiki, we ended up having a drink at the same place "John Black" from Days of our Lives was at. Some soap talk show was being filmed on the beach and I guess he was in town for that...But it was cool to see him.

This is a great place to visit if you come to Oahu. It is an all day adventure, so be ready.

Big Island - Black Sand Beach

We went to the this black sand beach on the Big Island. It was the first time I have seen turtles right on the beach...it was amazing.

Woke up today and it was WONDERFUL outside. Since it has been so cloudy and rainy the last few weeks...It was nice to see the sun. We decided to take the girls to the beach for the morning. They always have a great time!!

Ron and Kelly's First Trip to Hilo, Hawaii

Okay...So, all of you guys know me *smiling*...On our first visit trip to Hilo, Hawaii (home of the Volcano National Park) we went on a hike. Ron was not really in the mood to hike, but he had given into my whining and went on a 1/2 mile hike with me. We started the hike at the top of a volcano and worked our way around the trail. As we started to go into the crater, Ron said to me...I don't think this was the 1/2 mile hike. I just kept telling him, "The sign said 1/2 mile." We kept going. Once we started walking across the center of the crater, we both had decided that the sign must of been wrong, b/c it had been 2 hours now. As we hiked back up the OTHER side of the volcano...I was sure I must of read the sign wrong. Finally, 4 hours later we made it back to the car....Looked at the sign. It said 1/2 mile...To next sign. Whole Crate Hike 5 miles...*smiling*. Blonde moment!!

Mom has came to visit a few times since I have moved to Hawaii. One trip we went from island to island...We had a great time!!

Funny Moment at Miami Zoo!

The funniest thing happened when Ron and I visited the Miami Zoo. Walking through the zoo, you (well I do at least) always think, "What would I do if something was running around the zoo?" We walked by the exhibit of the HUGE lizards...Then I turned the corner and saw this thing!! I started running the other direction and yelling...I looked crazy!! When Ron and I finally realized what it was...A Photo spot...LOL....I had to take a picture.
