Okay...So, all of you guys know me *smiling*...On our first visit trip to Hilo, Hawaii (home of the Volcano National Park) we went on a hike. Ron was not really in the mood to hike, but he had given into my whining and went on a 1/2 mile hike with me. We started the hike at the top of a volcano and worked our way around the trail. As we started to go into the crater, Ron said to me...I don't think this was the 1/2 mile hike. I just kept telling him, "The sign said 1/2 mile." We kept going. Once we started walking across the center of the crater, we both had decided that the sign must of been wrong, b/c it had been 2 hours now. As we hiked back up the OTHER side of the volcano...I was sure I must of read the sign wrong. Finally, 4 hours later we made it back to the car....Looked at the sign. It said 1/2 mile...To next sign. Whole Crate Hike 5 miles...*smiling*. Blonde moment!!
