Superstition Mountain Mom and I headed to Scottsdale Arizona for our Spring 2008 Mother-Daughter bonding trip. We stayed at the Camelback Inn, JW Marriott Resort and Spa. When we arrived in Phoenix, we headed straight for the resort. Checked in and went straight to bed...Oh, did I tell you we arrived at 12 midnight! Got up early the next day and went shopping for the day! The next day, decided to head to Apache Trail to an old Ghost Town. This Ghost Town was pack and fun to be in. Contiuned driving on Hightway 88 and saw some of the most beautiful mountains!

The cactus was cool to look at. Learned that if these BIG cactus take at least 75 years to grow their arms, therefore, if you see one with a lot of arms...it is really old.

Mom had never hiked a mountain before, so we hiked Mummy Mountain on our last day there! She was funny, but made it all the way around the hiking trail. I was really impressed with her!

We also enjoyed a relaxing day at the Spa their...Oh, the spa was amazing. Has to be one of the best spa's I have ever been to. If you are ever in the area or wanting a much needed get away, I suggest this resort and spa!
