My First Earthquake - 4.5 Magnitude Tremor

Last night at 12:58AM I was sleeping peacefully...then all of a sudden, I woke to the house shaking. I thought I was having a dream and went back to sleep. Once I was up and watching the news...I realized I didn't have a dream...I really was in an earthquake!!

Anyway, the one thing that happened was the floor was rolling a lot and it make Kehau and Victoria sick. Other than that, everything is fine here and I made it through my first earthquake okay!!

This is a picture of the actually "shock wave" that went around after the quake. I live right in between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles!!

Day 3 - Hong Kong

Ok so yesterday we did our community relations ...we went to go on an outing with the blind...well they weren't really blind ..they we in the process of going blind so the go to this school to get training on Braille and how to walk with a cane and so forth..so when got there they gave us training on how to walk with them and had a little presentation and then we were on our way...we got on the bus and went on our journey..on the way there to kill time...we sang songs and got to know each other a little..we got to our first stop which was "the Peak" from here you can see all of downtown Hong Kong and Kowloon harbor.

It was pretty cool...there was like a mall there with hard rock café and an EA sports thing with all their video games...after that we got back on the bus and went to eat at an authentic Chinese restaurant....they had some crazy food there but it was very good and we ate a lot....lunch was only $2.75 for a WHOLE LOT of food...after we got done we went to this mall that had 9 floors and walked around for a while ...got some starbucks..all in all it was a great day and we met some wonderful people.
